Any know course changes will be posted on the web site and as always at the pre-race course talks.

SHORT COURSE
SWIM 1/4 MILE * BIKE 12.5 MILE * RUN 2 MILE
New Route for 2009!
We have made some changes in the 2009 Short Course based on your feedback from last year.  We have: added 10 more minutes between Long and Short Course; improved the safety where the 2 races merge by merging at a different corner and extended the distance of the Short Course to be more proportionate to the swim and the run.
The SWIM will start following the last heat of the full Triathlon, again in heats of 50.  The swim turn around will be moved back to 1/8 mile for a total of ¼ mile.  The BIKE course will turn right at Spencer Lake Road from the long course and join back in at HWY K.  This change adds about 5 miles to the bike portion.  We have received permission to restrict auto traffic on K for the race for your safety.   The RUN will turn left off of the long route at 7th and Park Ave., left again at Demarest Ave. and right on Berlin to return to South Park.
